Vietnam POWs Reunite 40 Years Later
AIRED:
Nearly 200 Vietnam prisoners of war, and their families, gathered at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library Thursday for what was expected to be their largest reunion in years. The POWs traveled to the event aboard a motorcade of buses from Newport Beach to the steps of the Nixon Library for a public ceremony held at 1p.m. The event marked 40 years since President and Mrs. Nixon hosted these American heroes for the largest dinner event ever held at the White House on May 24, 1973.moreless
