Here we have Ben Affleck, who plays Bobby Walker, a corporate executive who loses his job, as do others, including Tommy Lee Jones. But the movie doesn't connect with you. You don't really feel their pain. If you're the breadwinner and you're laid off, you lose your job, it's awful. You lose your self-confidence. You blame yourself. It becomes difficult to maintain your role in the family itself. And all of that is a major, major story. The country's been beggared. Many of the people responsible for the situation we're in have not been punished. And at the very least, we need a movie to lay it all out. This ain't that movie.
