Real Army Wives

Real Army Wives features the true stories of military families as they deal with the deployment of a loved one. Available from Lifetime, each "webisode" is under five minutes long and features thirteen different families. The show explores some of the most difficult aspects of military life, including the challenges of raising children without a father and the constant fear that a loved one may experience injury or death. Although these serious topics are included in each piece, the episodes are ultimately uplifting as they showcase each soldier coming home from the war. In one story, viewers will have the opportunity to see a man return to his three young sons after his fifth deployment. In another, they can watch as a father surprises his children at their school or see a husband reunite with his very thankful wife. Through each of these families, Real Army Wives shows what life for military families is really all about.
