Marking the 68th anniversary of the end of World War Two, dozens of protester in Taiwan ripped Japanese flags in front of the Japan Interchange Association. Protesters demanded an apology and compensation to all the victims of the war. Many held up placards and shouted slogans "Diaoyu island is ours". In Hong Kong, protesters observed a minute of silence for the victims of war before marching to the Japanese consulate.moreless
