Episode Summary

EDIT
Daily Digit: 16 Mln Vehicles
AIRED:
Today's daily digit is more than 16 million. That's how many vehicles were sold in the US in August on an annualized basis, according to several automakers. It is the first time US sales topped that level since November of 2007. US auto sales on track to be up as much as 17 percent in August- the strongest month since the start of the 2007-2009 recession. GM sales were up 15 percent. Toyota up 23 percent- both much better than forecasts. Ford and Chrysler sales were each up 12 percent.moreless
