About 5000 garment factory workers marched from their factory to Phnom Penh city hall on Thursday (September 5) demanding a raise and bonus payments. Workers from the SL 1 and SL 2 garment factories, mostly women, for about six kilometers to the city hall where they blocked the road. The workers currently get minimum wage of $80 per month but they are demanding a rise to $150 per month.moreless
