India's 'Butterfly Lifespan' Babies
AIRED:
A new report by "Save the Children" says more babies die in India on the very day they were born than anywhere else in the world. That's 309,000 children whose lives end within 24 hours of their birth every year. Low birth weights and infections are being blamed but health care is another factor. One woman said her baby died after she was turned away from a hospital because of overcrowding.moreless
