From Cuba to Florida to New York City's Herald Square, long distance swimmer Diana Nyad is back in the water. This time the 64-year-old is holding a 48-hour continuous "Swim for Relief" fundraiser. Doing laps in a 40-yard, 42,000-gallon pool, Nyad is raising money for people still struggling one year after Hurricane Sandy. Funds will go to AmeriCares, a nonprofit global health and disaster relief organization that delivers aid across the United States.moreless
