Episode Summary

EDIT
Shutdown Felt by Federal Employees, Tourists
AIRED:
It's official. The U.S. government has shutdown -- at least partially. Americans woke to the news that Congress had failed to pass a budget. What this means is that up to 1 million federal workers are now on unpaid leave. "We don't go if we are going to get paid for these days that we are going to be off on furlough. We don't know how long the furlough is going to be. This is just a bad situation." Tuesday in the capital was markedly quieter than just a day earlier.moreless
