The second chapter of “The Stalker Chronicles” was inspired by Tennessee Williams. In his Southern Dramas, the common themes were madness and broken dreams. This genre of theatre is characterized by the portrayal of the loneliness of life. There is an emphasis on the irrational, the desperation of humanity in a universe in which cosmic laws do not work, and their tragi-comic examination of the conflicts between the gentility of old Southern values and the brute force of new, Northern values. Trivia: The lines, "The light is empty, sun forestalls reflection," are directly quoted from Tennessee Williams' poem, "The Wine Drinker." See: Streetcar Named Desire & Cat on a Hot Tin Roofmoreless
