Street Fighter: The Later Years

Show Summary

Street Fighter: The Later Years is a 2006 parody web series produced by College Humor using the characters from the popular Capcom video game series. It features the once legendary street fighters of the past, now beyond their prime, and forced to use what little remains of their talents and powers to scratch out a pathetic living. A chance meeting between Dhalsim (Sean T. Krishnan) and Zangief (Mike Fass) leads them to organize a new fighting tournament with the help of the now wheelchair-bound M. Bison (Luis De Amechazurra). As they gather all of their old friends, sinister forces led by the once protagonist of the series Ryu (Kevin Yamada) threaten to dash their dreams forever. A total of nine episodes were created, each with a runtime of about five to ten minutes. Any fan of Street Fighter or short comedic web series will find something to like about Street Fighter: The Later Years.
