TED Talks is a series of educational videos from the TED conference, where speakers focus on creativity, the brain, and other "ideas worth spreading". Over 600 talks are available online, and have become very popular, getting millions of viewers from around the world. The annual conference began focusing on technology and design, but through the years has expanded to science, culture, and more general topics. Curated by Chris Anderson, TED is a non-profit organization which puts on the conference as well as giving grants to people to encourage world-changing action. Guests of the TED conference who have contributed talks include Bill Clinton, Sir Ken Robinson, Elizabeth Gilbert, Hans Rosling, Jill Bolte Taylor, Al Gore, and Bill Gates.

  • Preachy

I've have now seen 5 episodes of this show. While I enjoy some of the speakers and their stories, each segment runs too long and becomes too preachy in the process. If they incorporated less slideshows and more clips, it would be more interesting and thus more effective in getting their message across.
  • Now that's what what I'm talkin' about!

Great variety of subjects, entertaining and educational! I wish more there was more web content like this.
  • always inspiring, always educational

i've spent many a sleepless night watching these talks back to back. favs include JJ Abrams and Aimee Mullins.

they are basically the pringles of web video. once you pop (or in this case press play on the video player) you literally won't be able to stop
  • Great

A refreshing change of pace for web content. Great talks from great minds on a huge lists of topics.
