The Best of Abbott and Costello Live is a collection of sketches from Scott Entertainment featuring the famous comedic duo of yesteryear. William "Bud" Abbott and Lou Costello were the most famous comedians of the 1940s and early 1950s, appearing in more than a dozen blockbuster movies together. They also had successful radio, television, and stage careers. Proving to be enormously important, their style of comedy influenced modern comedians such as Jerry Seinfeld. Their most famous act is "Who's on First?"about a baseball manager who has a hard time keeping up with confusing pronouns. This collection includes it as well as many more, with titles such as "Small Steak," "Mathamatics," "A Little Higher," "Conducting the Orchestra," and "Milk Shake." All of these skits were performed live. The total runtime of this collection is 56 minutes. Any fan of classic comedy or early film will find something to like about The Best of Abbott and Costello Live.
