The Biggest Loser- The Workout is a collection of tips to lose weight and exercise routines from popular NBC reality show The Biggest Loser, featuring trainer Bob Harper, and six former contestants. The Biggest Loser is a show that takes overweight people and helps them to lose weight, with diets incorporating caloric reduction and lots of exercise with trainers. At the end of each week, the contestants are weighed to determine who has succeeded with the biggest percentage of weight lost, and through using different team systems over the seasons has narrowed down the competitors to a final winner, who receives $250,000. Bob Harper is one of the trainers featured on the show, along with Jillian Michaels. The show has had nine seasons, including three with couples and one with families. The Biggest Loser: The Workout is for people at home who want to use the same methods from the show to help with their own weight loss. Bob Harper takes the contestants featured on the DVD through a different workout with him in each segment, and helps the viewer to sweat off their extra pounds just like the contestants on the show.
