The Hardest Working in America is a web video series from the Sundance Channel and Brett Ratner introduces viewers to some of America's unsung heroes, offering short biographies of people who may never be publicly recognized but have nonetheless contributed invaluable effort to American society. Each episode of this illuminating series takes viewers into the life of a different American citizen who has dedicated countless hours of his or her life to the pursuit of their choice. One episode focuses on New York City's David Wasserman, who leaves his home every morning at 3:47 AM to prepare the delicious and much-loved baked goods for his family owned and operated bakery. Or Steven Branch, a Greenville, North Carolina coach whose promising career as a college basketball player was cut tragically short by a devastating knee injury. He has since dedicated his life to coaching young athletes in a variety of sports in his town.
