Did you know that 1-4 girls and 1-6 boys will be sexual abuse by the age of 18? But only 1-10 will tell. 70% of all sexual assault crime happens to children under the age of 17. The average age is 9 years old. It?s time to break this silence. Please join me as I talk with Angela Williams, a woman who was sexual abused from the age of 3-17 by her stepfather. She turned to drugs, alcoholism and even attempted suicide to heal her pain. Tonight, we will have to opportunity to hear from her. Angela Williams is the founder of Voice Today, a non-profit organization breaking the silence of child sexual abuse. She is also the author of ?From Sorrows to Sapphires: Incest, Silence and God? a book based on her true story.
