Notes

Motown Group had a lot going on. First, Wayne was (kiddingly)upset about doing a hockey song because, as he said in his first verse, 'In the game of hockey, you rarely find a brother,' and did Colin's fanfare from Infomercial in Show No. 324(from the same taping), which Drew also did. Then Chip mentioned a Zamboni in his verse, which Ryan was going to use in his verse and told him after(to his credit, in rhythm) and after the song he said, 'I had that Zamboni line so ready!' (edit)
A rare moment in Hoedown: Ryan is completely stumped! He is at a total lost for words! Drew steps in and helps while Ryan mouths along. He predicts Drew's final rhyme because his lips match Drew's words. (edit)
Ryan tries his best to catch Colin off guard during Let's Make A Date. During his second pass, Ryan suddenly bursts into a stunt drive. Colin is only a fraction behind catching on, much to Ryan's visible consternation. (edit)

(SFAH, trivial reasons to hold news conferences)
Chip: I've asked you all here to announce to this news conference.
Wayne: I'm here to report, that, uh, Jimmy is no longer cracking corn and I do care.
Chip: Got a new podium!
Wayne: I would now like to announce UPN's fall season. (edit)
(In SFAH, Other things Dorothy and her friends asked the Wizard for)
Ryan: I'd rather drive the yellow brick road. You wouldn't know of a rental-car place around?
Wayne: (With Colin) Oh, and Mr. Wizard, I would love some hair from my friend. (edit)
(SFTH, color commentators on their day off)
Wayne: (with Colin) Honey, the dinner was great but let me show you what you did wrong. (pointing fingers) Right here, you should've come around the counter and taken the mashed potatoes and then...(Colin pretends to cock a rifle)
Ryan: (putting his pants on) Well, that was great, great sex. Let's take another look at that. (taking off his pants) (edit)
(SFAH, first drafts of famous movie lines)
Ryan: Frankly, Scarlett, I don't give a lamb.
Chip: (as Ahnold) I'll be back in a couple minutes. I have some things I have to do and then I'll come on back.
Ryan: Follow the yellow brick toad. Follow the yellow brick toad.
Colin: Fredzilla! Fredzilla!
Chip: (as Darth Vader) Luke, I'm your second uncle twice removed. (edit)
(SFAH, cartoon characters on dates)
Chip: (as Snagglepuss) Heavens to Murgatroid! You're sexy! Beautiful, even!

Trivia

add »
This episode could have been filmed before that song came out, or maybe none of them had heard of that song. (edit)
In Song Titles, Wayne can't think of anything to say, and says "Yes," causing Drew to buzz him out. However, Wayne should have stayed in the game, because "Yes!" is the name of a real song. In fact, it was a #1 hit in August 2000 for country singer Chad Brock. (edit)
During Drew's opening joke, he calls Angelina Jolie Angela Jolie. (edit)
During Hoedown, Drew flubs his words. He meant to say, "She says that I smell as bad as an episode of 'Big Brother!' Instead, he sings, "She smells that I smell as bad as an episode of 'Big Brother!' (edit)
