In the dimension of Magix there are 6 teenage girls at Alfea College for fairies who fight to save the universe from evil- They are the Winx Club! Along with their boyfriends from Redfountain school for Heroics they battle evil and save the universe from the Senior Witches, the evil warlock Darkar and the vicious Sorcerer Baltor.

Season Summaries

Season 1: Bloom, an unsuspecting earth girl suddenly finds out she possesses magical powers when she meets Stella, the Princess of the Sun and Moon and a student at Alfea college for Fairies. Soon, Bloom enrolls at Alfea and meets three other girls- Flora, Musa and Tecna. Together, the five form the Winx Club! Throughout the season they meet several boys from Red Fountain school of Heroics and the witches from the nearby Cloud Tower school. In particular, the Trix (Icy, Darcy and Stormy) are out to steal Bloom's mysterious power from her and takeover the universe. Meanwhile, Bloom is trying to find out more about her mysterious past and powers. Can she and the others girls stop the Trix from taking over the universe?

Season 2: With the Witches vanquished, the Winx Club are looking forward to a normal second year at Alfea, but what they get is far from normal! They meet a new girl, Layla, and her Pixie friends from Tides! Layla becomes the sixth member of the Winx Club. Plus, there's a new Redfountain boy- Helia who is an artist and a dreamer. Soon though, the Winx Club find out there is a new evil power growing- Darkar, the evil lord of the the under realm. Soon, he frees the Witches from their prison and they proceed to capture all four pieces of the Codex. Legend has it that when the Codex pieces are all reunited, with the power of the Dragonfire that they will open the doorway to the realm containing Ultimate Power. Will the Winx Club be able to stop Darkar's evil ambitions?

Season Three: The Winx Club must now face a new enemy- the sorcerer Baltor. He is one of the most evil villains in all the realms and was sealed in the Omega Dimension for all eternity with the hopes that he could never break free of his icy prison. The Trix free Baltor and now he is on a quest to take the magic from all of the realms and make all of their subjects his loyal slaves! He uses a vengeful schoolgirl, Chimera, to help in him his plans to takeover Stella's realm of Solaria and the nasty Princess Diaspro to takeover Eraklyion. Which realm will he attack next?

Characters

Bloom: The mysterious earth girl who suddenly finds out that she possesses the magical power of the Dragonfire and is heir to the crown of Sparx! She has a pet bunny, Kiko who is actually a magical pixie pet! Her boyfriend is Prince Sky and her bonded pixie is Lockette, pixie of portals.

Stella: Stella is the Princess of Solaria, and her father is King. Her mother was Queen until her parents went through a messy divorce battle. She get uncomfortable talking about it and would dearly love her parents to get back together. She draws her power from the Sun and Moon and is always a very cheerful person! She loves fashion and shopping and knows exactly how to be a perfect princess. Her bonded pixie is Amore, pixie of Love and her boyfriend is Brandon.

Musa: Musa grew up on Melody, the planet of music in the Harmonic Realm. Her mother is dead but she tries to be strong in spite of it. Her biggest passion is music, she plays several instruments and is an excellent singer. She loves all types of music, from Jazz to Hip Hop. Music is also where she draws her power from and if she is surrounded by music her power greatly increases. She's something of a rebel and doesn't always follow the rules. She's impulsive, bold and wild but cares deeply for her friends. Her bonded pixie is Tune, pixie of manners and her boyfriend is Riven.

Flora: Flora is the Fairy of Nature and she loves all plants and animals. She's got a big heart and loves her friends very much too, but she's a little shy. Flora is usually gentle and very sweet, it takes a lot to get her mad. But watch out, she's still very powerful! Her bonded pixie is Chatta, pixie of chatter. Her boyfriend is Helia, the artist and dreamer.

Tecna: Just like her name suggests, Tecna is the fairy of technology and its her source of power. She's very knowledgeable about computers and all electronics but she hates when people treat her like a machine. She loves her little gadgets and is up to date on all the latest technology. Consequently, she's not very into fashion and modern trends, much to Stella's dismay. Her bonded pixie is Digit, pixie of technology and her boyfriend is Timmy.

Layla: Layla was the last member of the Winx club to join, she first appeared in Season 2. She is a princess from the realm of Tides and always grew up very prim and proper at her parent's orders. However, this has made her something of a rebel and she really bonded with Musa. She loves to dance, its her greatest passion. Her powers are drawn from water, she can shape water molecules into a solid form to suit her needs. Her bonded pixie is Piff, pixie of sweet dreams.

The Redfountain Boys: At Redfountain school of heroics, boys learn to be heroes and all sorts of sword fighting techniques and the strategy behind the battle. Prince Sky attends Redfountain, and for most of the first season he switched identities with his squire, Brandon. He said he wanted to find out what it would be like to be a normal guy, and then the boys were found out because Sky's fiancee Princess Diaspro showed up. He later broke off the engagement because he loved Bloom and she and Stella forgave the boys for their deception. Riven also attends Redfountain and he is the bad boy of the group- for most of the first season he dated Darcy and was under her spell until she turned on him and he realized his mistake. He and Musa eventually ended up dating. Timmy is the brainiac of the group and their major strategist. He was secretly crushing on Tecna for a while, until they both came out and admitted their feelings for each other and ended up dating. Helia is the dreamer and the artist of the group. He first appeared in Season 2, and started out going to an art school before he gave up pacifism and transferred to Red Fountain. He loves Flora very much and their personalities mesh well together.

The Trix: The Trix or the Senior Witches are Icy, Darcy and Stormy, descendants of the evil Witches coven that destroyed Sparx. They are bitter about their lack of power and are always trying to get more- first by attempting to steal the Dragonfire and then by teaming up with Darkar and later Baltor. Icy is the leader and strongest of the three and is the favorite of Darkar and Baltor. Her power takes the form of ice. Darcy's is usually hypnotism and illusions whereas Stormy's power takes the form of malicious weather like tornadoes and lightning.

  Hi everybody, I started a petition for 4kids to bring season 4 of winx club in English here in the United States. To the people who really want it or anybody please sign my petition.   We haven't had an elimination game in a while now, so i decided to start another one. The rules incase u dont already kno are really simple. You take away a point from one character, and give it to another. You cannot post twice in a row, but have to wait until somebody else has posted before u could post again.   This show is horrible.. Why you boys and girls like this show. I really hate this shows. Because there's no boy part just full of girl part and it is also full of romance plot, where's the action part just full of sitcoms and stuff. Sorry for the offense...Anyways.... Winx Club is actually an Italian show although i never watch the original dub, but the English dub its so annoying and the voice acting is terrible and also plot of the episodes.... i can't even understand what is this all about.
  
  I recommend you should read a comic of winx club instead watchinhg the television series.

  i love the winx club. i was just wodering.....arent the girls just in high school??? i can see why it would seem as though they would be in college (some things point to it) but for the most part it seems a high school bunch...club....group of friends. The way the couples are into each other is older but the fact that this is bording school and that they stilll consult there parents..... wait i just remembered that i read something, a chararcter bio on each of them and they are the high school age. so not that is matters but the summary at the begining is wrong, and it is only slightly botheering me and confused me for a moment. ..

  When Bloom saves a fairy called stella from an ogre, she travels to Alfea school to learn to be a fairy.
  Together they meet Flora, Musa, Tecna, and layla, while along the way the "Winx Club" find their winx, acheive their Charmix and Gain their Enchantix.
  But trouble lurks as the evil witches and their leaders.
  In the first season, the girls fight the witches who steal bloom's power, the Dragonfire. Together with the help of the Specialists, bloom and the girls get it back and Defeat icy, darcy and stormy.
  In the second season, Lord darkar teams up with the witches to get into the forbidden realm of relix and unleash the ultimate power. In the third season, once again the witches return to reak havoc, and this time with an evil wizard named baltor, who wants to be the greatest wizard in the Universe.
  A thrilling televison show for those young and old!

  This is the journey of six Alfea fairies, Bloom, Aisha/Layla, Musa, Flora, Stella and Tecna as they discover about themselves and their magic, have fun whilst defending the realms from evil! hide « show »

  I quite like this show, which is kinda of scary cause I'm not a big fan of fairy type shows! I found that the character design and animation was great. The drawings were drawn well and their different forms (normal transformation, charmix and enchantix) were detailed and well designed though I thought the enchantix forms were a bit over the top compared to other drawings, however saying that there wasn't anything wrong with them.
  
  The plots throughout the series, Season 1-3, were well developed and explained through the episodes. Having relevant links to the characters past, present and future. The scenery/places were well designed (personal favourite, Cloud Tower) and fitted to that particular style. The characters history was also well developed and the reason for there appearance in the show. I also liked the fact that each person who wielded magic had there own special power which was basically unique to the person!
