The Winx Club head to the bottom of the ocean where they come across a legendary sea monster and try to gain Layla's sight back.
Write a Recap »This Episode is really cool bcuz layla got her enchantix! The Winx girls (except layla) use alot of their powers in this episode. The kraken, the legendnary sea monster was terrible! It almost killed Queen Leshia. layla sacrisfie herself so that Queen Leshia can be healed. Layla was also the first 1 to get her enchantix powers. Baltor robbed off layla sight but i think when layla fight baltor she shold have heard the words and avoid his powers but she didn't. Bloom teleport the faires, herself and the mermaids back on shore. and that is when Layla has her enchantix transformation.

This episode was so awsome! I love the mermaids and the fact that they have wings! They all look so beautiful, well that is they look beautiful when they're not under baltors spell. Bloom is very encouraging to the mermaid princess in this episode, It was very nice of her to give the princess the courage she needed to help the others. The kracken was scary as hell, i can't believe it grew back its tenticles, i thought only starfish could do that!, Stella got caught out when using piff to pretend to be herself and now the girls will be in trouble when they return :S. Layla is still sightless in this episode and i feel so sorry for her, and when she gets the chance to get it back she gives it up in order to save the mermaid queen which was so so so nice of her!!! and then she got her enchantix!!! it was awsome!!! i loved it!!!! soooo cool!!! it was great!!!!

Especially because it was a Layla-focused episode, which there aren't really that much of but always fun to watch (for me, at least).
Being an avid "fan" or what have you of mermaids, period, it was such a treat to watch the Fairies travel underwater with Queen Leisa's daughter, and be able to breathe, to boot (although I am a bit surprised that the pressure didn't crush them to death, no matter the fact that they were magically able to speak and breathe).
It was definitely an adventurous episode, full of action and filtered with reasons why one should/does watch the show in the first place (again, the action). Even Stella's little B-story was pretty humorous to witness, although I am not particularly fond of the Pixies (save Piff, but only because she does nothing but sleep and eat, and cannot yet speak LoL) and find them a bit "pointless" to the series' overall effect.
Regardless, it was still a pretty good episode, especially because Layla is the first of the six to get her Enchantix. As my "favorite" Fairie, that was a real treat to witness (not to mention surprising, considering she seems to be the most "neglected" character, and so I assumed she would be last or close to last to receive her "upgrade." Congrats, Layla ^_~

i can't wait to see what Stella does about this! i mean they can't just get rid of Stella! her powers come from the Sun and the Moon! so what will happen with her powers now! the whole reason she had them was because she was the Princess of Solaria! i really want to go and slap Cassandra! and Chimera for that matter! what they are doing to King Radius is down right wrong! and Layla's Enchantix! whoa! it's so pretty! i can't wait to see the other girls Enchantix! but what was Layla moaning about not seeing? can't she just wait till the next night when the power can go back into the staff! makes no sense! oh well still loved the episode!
