The scene starts with the witches summoning a nightmare gargoyle. It attacks each member of the Winx, (with the exception of Bloom), and gets stronger as each girl is drained from the nightmares. Mirta (who's still stuck as a pumpkin) informs the girls what's really going on. On the second night, the girls prepare to ambush it, but the witches show up and completely pummel them. That is, until Faragonda appears, kicks the nightmare monster's butt, and chases the witches. The witches retreat only to discover that they are expelled from Cloudtower.

When the winx find out they are being attacked by a nightmare gargoil, they try to defeat it. Flora learns that the witches sent it to weaken them so they can steal Blooms power. The winx find out that the gargoil is to much, however, Mrs. Faragonda shows up. Her and Bloom defeat the monster and send the witches back to Cloudtower. Miss. Griffen finds out what happens. She isn't mad because of what they did, but because they got caught. She becomes angry and expells the 3 witches. The witches decide to take over the schools starting with Cloudtower.
