Jack Malone: Waiting around is not exactly my best thing.
Gil Grissom: I gathered that from your interogation technique. You know maybe you should go back to your hotel. Take a nap.
Jack Malone: Is this your office, really? By choice? It's not some surplus, overflow issue?
Gil Grissom: What's wrong with my office?
Jack Malone: Oh, I don't know, uh, why don't you tell me?
Gil Grissom: That's an radiated fetal pig. I used it to determine the affects of radiation on tissue.
Jack Malone: For what?
Gil Grissom: For fun.
Sara Sidle: Hey, Gil I uh sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt.
Gil Grissom: No, no. It's fine. Jack Malone, FBI. Sara Sidle, CSI.
Jack Malone: Hi.
Sara Sidle: Hello. I hear your abduction case is now a serial murder.
Jack Malone: Yeah.
Sara Sidle: Well, uh, I got called into work early, but I did pick up Hank and I took him to the sitter.
Gil Grissom: Thank you. I'll see you when I see you.
Sara Sidle: Later.
Jack Malone: Is Hank your kid?
Gil Grissom: Hank's my dog. She walks him for me sometimes.
Jack Malone: Oh yeah, that's how it starts. I have some experience dating in the workplace.
Gil Grissom: Really? And, uh, how'd it work out for ya?
