Read Full Recap » (warning: possible spoilers!)I loved this ep, it's the one ep that shows what Tsume is actually like. hide show
Tsume is obviously my Favourite character out of the whole Wolf's Rain series. This ep is particularly special since it showed Tsume finally becoming one with the pack of wolves that he wound up traveling with. Though he doesn't appear to believe in Paradise, or in the Flower Maiden; he discover's that when he split up with them, he needed them. With Toboe going out to look for him, worried about his new friend getting hurt, though Tsume had pushed him away a few times, the young wolf doesn't know when to give up.
Tsume get's far enough from Toboe to be alone, though Toboe begins to howl to try and get his friend's attention. In the end he get's unwanted attention via an old machine that appears to want to track down wolves and kill them. This is where you learn that although Tsume acts like a tough guy, he really is anything but tough; considering that he saves Toboe on this occassion. You also learn that Kiba; unlike Tobie, didn't save Tsume from the machine because he thinks they are friends, but on 'instinct'. Which shows what kind of wolf he is. It may not impress a lot of people, but I loved this ep.
