In Hollywood the reverse of the old adage, 'Age before beauty,' is true, and aging screenwriter Byrdie isn't going down without a fight. Instead of losing it Norma Desmond-style, she enlists the help of her attractive young nephew Jason to shop her script as his own, and watches as it becomes the hottest item in Tinseltown. Can she keep up the ruse and stand by quietly while Jason gets all the credit for her work?
