Yuji Naka: I definitely think it's possible, because in order to really enjoy Sonic, 2D is truly the way to do it. edit »
Sega: Do you think Sonic and Amy Rose will ever get married?

Yuji Naka: There will be hardly be any chance, I bet. Amy will continue to pursue Sonic all the time, but Sonic will not ever get married. I think so, because I cannot picture the image of Sonic that he is married and has his children! Also, I feel it is a more Amy's style to always chase Sonic.

Sega: Were there any particular problems you had to overcome in creating Sonic?
Yuji Naka: It was difficult to create a character that can please children from all over the world.

Yuji Naka: As a creator, my goal is to make games for the largest audience. I think we must make it easy for children to play. edit »
Yuji Naka: I'm one of the directors at Sega, so I'm involved with all the games. As president of Sonic Team I give basic direction in creating and producing them. edit »
